We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. (2 Corinthians 4:8-10)
It always seems to happen this way, but just when I start to feel that everything in my life is headed in the wrong direction, God blesses me with his provisions. This has been a realization for me as of late because I am sticking to my vision for 2011 of seeking God and growing a deeper relationship with him.
In life, we can't win every battle, but we can never be counted out, either. The reason being that we believe in a God that is all knowing, all-powerful, and always victorious.
The next time you feel battle weary, turn it all over to your loving Father. Speak to him through prayer, and dig deep in his living Word! The light of Christ will shine through you.
