I Need You

These all look to you to give them food at the proper time.  When you give it to them, they gather it up; when you open your hand, they are satisfied with good things.  When you hide your face they are terrified; when you take away their breath, they die and return to dust.  When you send your Spirit, they are created, and you renew the face of the earth.  (Psalm 104:27-30)

If you are like me, you can look to everyone or everywhere else but God to meet your needs.  We seek answers from family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and occasionally we'll even look things up on Google or Wikipedia.  This host of other sources is great, but overlooking God is a costly and arrogant mistake.

Today, many people are arrogant enough to think they don't need God.  We often forget that it was God, our Creator, that first breathed life into us and formed us from dust, and it is God that wants the best for us in this life.

We must learn to depend on Him for all things-big and small and humble ourselves to follow His perfect will for each of our lives.
