I can't help but notice "the dudes"at the gym, hopped up on protein shakes and supplements that enjoy admiring themselves in the mirror when I go to workout. It's almost humorous, but the same guys are the ones that always seem to cut me off when I am waiting on some exercise equipment to open up.
We have a multibillion dollar clothing industry in the US and most people are obsessed with their outward appearance. Don't get me wrong, I have battled weight loss and work out daily to look and feel my best. Unfortunately, there are many people that are consumed with their image instead of what really counts-what's on the inside. We try to earn approval from everyone except God...
Our heavenly Father's opinion of us is truly the only one that matters. If He approves of us, that's all the approval we need, regardless of how the world sees it.
We are created in His image and we are all works of art in His eyes.
