"I don't belong here" are the lyrics from the Switchfoot song "The Beautiful Letdown" that often resonate with me when I feel like a stranger in a strange land. There are too many things out of my power to control that I have come to realize that Christ is the One who has everything under His control.
The apostle Paul teaches us to keep our focus on and our eyes on Christ. We also need to remember that this world is not our final destination, but just a short stop before eternity. We "stand firm" by not only keeping our minds fixed upon Christ, but allowing Him to be the Savior of our lives.
