Would you be able to praise God and rejoice even if you were imprisoned? Not only does it seem strange, but Paul teaches us that our inner attitudes do not have to reflect our outward circumstances. Why do so many people use social media outlets as a place to spew negativity?
It's easy to be discouraged when things aren't going the way you planned. True joy is knowing that Christ is dwelling within us at all times. If you have been unpleasant lately, maybe it's time to do some soul searching and taking another look at life with a different perspective.
