Misunderstanding

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.  (Proverbs 3:5)

It is hard to find people that you can really trust nowadays.  When you have an important decision to make, who do you trust?  A family member, friend, neighbor, or a co-worker?  Some people feel that they can't trust anyone, even God.  God knows what is best for us.  He is a better judge of what we want than even we are!

We must trust Him in every decision we make; even the small ones.  We should not omit careful thinking or fail to reason and we certainly should not exclude the ideas of our loved ones, but the key here is that we are not to be wise in our own eyes.

We should always approach our Father with humility and the willingness to let His truth speak into our lives.  He will make your paths straight by both guiding and protecting you.
