Glory To God In The Highest

Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests."  (Luke 2:13-14)

I have waited for most of my life to see some dreams and hopes fulfilled...finding my soulmate, having two wonderful sons, being blessed with a loving and supporting family and friends, seeing Auburn play in the BCS Championship Game to name a few things.

Some of the Jews were waiting for a savior to deliver them from Roman rule; others hoped the Messiah would deliver them from their physical ailments.  But Jesus, while healing their illnesses and establishing a spiritual kingdom, delivered them from sin.  Jesus' work is more far-reaching than anyone could imagine.

Christ was born, a love messiah, that lived among us and paid the ultimate price for sin, while opening the way for peace with God!  He offers us more than anything this world can possibly offer us; He gives us all new hearts that will last for eternity!

Merry Christmas and happy birthday, Jesus!!!!!
