Lay Your Hands On Me

He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain.  All these things are gone forever.  (Revelation 21:4)

It seems that recently the focus of most of my prayers are centered around healing. My good friends are mourning the loss of their long-time pet, my mother is in a fight for her life, a friend of a friend is a single mother battling cancer, and another friend is going through a difficult time in her relationship, just to name a few.

The good news is that Jesus has the ability and desire to heal each of us.  It's when we go to Him in prayer that we truly express our faith and trust in Him.  While He is a true miracle worker in every meaning of the word, He doesn't heal every single illness, grief, or hurt that we experience in our lives.

We know He is faithful as He heals us from our sinful nature each and every day.  The best news is that His promises are real and one day we will all be fully healed and perfect with Him!
