Accomplishing Great Things

His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, nor his delight in the legs of a man; the Lord delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love. (Psalm 147:10)

I came to realize how truly helpless I am during the course of the past week; there was nothing that I could do to help expedite the process of bringing Elijah home any sooner.  There is nothing wrong with training to sharpen our skills or working to increase our strength if we intend to use those skills to glorify God. The truth of the matter is that God is more impressed by our faith and trust in Him than by our individual abilities.  We all have potential to do good, but only by trusting in God is it possible to accomplish great things!
