They gave according to their ability, yes, and beyond
their ability; and they did it voluntarily. 2 Corinthians 8:3
Giving is at the heart of being a follower of Christ.
There are various levels of giving; its' one thing to donate some old clothes
or items that you no longer want and a completely different thing to give away
something that is newer and more valuable to you.
If you know someone who has gone through a difficult time,
go shopping for that person. Find a special gift that shows your love and
the love of Christ to someone in need.
We all should move out of our comfort zones to give more
freely of ourselves, our time, and our worldly possessions. Jesus gave
His life for us on the cross and the greatest blessing is not found in the gift
but the one who gives!
